My boyfriend and I love date nights. We also love staying at home and watching movies. We take turns each week making one another a meal and picking out a movie that the other one has never seen. The air fryer has been a game-changer in our kitchen!

With a few simple ingredients and only 17 minutes of prep and cook time, these air fryer pork chops are perfect for a tasty dinner to make for your significant other. Even if you want to treat yourself to a delicious meal after a long day of classes and studying, this recipe is easy for any weeknight meal.
Instead of breading pork chops like I usually do, I decided to make a barbecue rub to put on them. The rub is very simple, too. All it requires is some barbecue sauce, a pinch of salt and pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. The great thing about this recipe is that it's not hard at all. For this recipe, I used bone-in pork chops, but feel free to use boneless ones if that's what you prefer.
Ingredients:

Instructions:
Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees for 5 minutes
Mix together the dry ingredients with the BBQ sauce in a bowl
Pat dry the pork chops with a paper towel, and then coat the barbeque sauce on both sides of the pork chops with a basting brush
Line the bottom of the air fryer with foil, as this helps keep the juices on the pork chops when cooking. Not to mention, it helps prevents a mess to clean up after.
Place the pork chops in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 12 minutes, turning the pork chops over at 6 minutes.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 12 minutes (you may have to repeat based on the size of your air fryer basket)
Pork chops are very versatile, and you can choose any side dishes based on what you're in the mood for, such as mashed potatoes, corn, mac and cheese, etc.! This recipe is one of my favorite ones so far, and my boyfriend loved them too! They are much healthier than getting food from your college's dining hall, and you can continue working on homework while cooking them in your dorm room. You'll even have leftovers to eat for another night!
